Charlie committed to begin his academic and athletic (soccer) career at the University of California, Santa Barbara earlier this week. This decision came after multiple discussions with Tim Von Steeg (Head Coach) & Neil Jones (Asst Coach) as well as a weekend trip to the campus.
Charlie graduated from Bexley High School (Ohio) earlier this year. He was part of the USL National 90’ team from 2005-2007 and played for the Cincinnati Kings (PDL) over the summer (2008). Charlie possesses a great mix of skill, speed, toughness and is very coachable. These qualities, along with an enormous amount of potential, caused him to be heavily recruited by UC schools. We look forward to watching him continue to shine for PSAElite, OC Blue Star & as a Gaucho next Fall (2009)!
